With Matthew on this year's Super Splash team (swims with the 6 and under kids and races at all home meets) we are a family with FIVE Rocklin Wave swimmers!
Yes, my bumper sticker should read, "my time and money all go to swim team"!
But really I am so grateful for a wonderful opportunity for them to learn a life skill,
and push themselves physically and mentally on this team.

Today was Matthew's first meet and since he has had siblings swimming his entire life,
you can imagine how excited he was!!!
He ALWAYS gives me "thumbs-up". Like 20 times a day. It's our thing :)
Got his game face on, ready to dive in...
Well really it was a huge, leap up INTO the air and hit the water FEET first, still with arms above his head in diving formation. It was hilarious!!
He started off with the free-style (still needing the help of the coaches).
But with backstroke he was ALL smiles, ready to rock it all by himself!
Here's a few favorites of Megan, doing her best butterfly! EVEN with a SMILE!
And Katelyn whose favorite stroke is backstroke (note her new cute haircut)
Wow, her dive looks awesome!
There's some nice down time spent in the tent which really makes this a family day.
And I LOVE the cheering and supporting of each other that goes on.
Here's Aubrey and her cute friend, (also a "ginger") Hannah.
These two texted almost daily to make sure the other would be at practice.
And Aubrey's friend Maddie who used to be on swim team, comes with her family to support her sister swimming, but is Aubrey's biggest fan! She is so cute to always be there cheering for her!
Her body screams "swimmer"!
Andrew spent most of his time hanging with his friends.
Don't worry he would come back to the tent...for food!
Looks like another great Wave season for 2014!
