Piano Recital

After some early morning yard work, a jewelry party, and haircut for Katelyn, 

but before our swim meet for the day we had our annual piano recital. 

 It was "the Price show" for the first few minutes as these four performed 

and then ran out to catch the last few minutes of check-in time.

Megan has been taking since June 2013, so this was her first recital.

She beautifully played, Hungarian Dance.

Katelyn has also been taking since June 2013 and for her first recital she chose, Solfeggietto.

Andrew started lessons in 2012, and so he had a recital last year and this was his second.

He played, Fur Elise.  I think it was the best time yet!

He also is playing it for his school talent show next week.

Aubrey started lessons in June of 2008 and she played Maple Leaf Rag.

So quickly, that I almost completely missed a photo :)

It was another great year of piano!  We are blessed to have a wonderful teacher who shares his talent and skills in a way that these kids find fun and motivating.

They are all good at practicing and with our new piano, someone is almost always playing!  I usually am asking for kids to get off the piano (and on task) as much as I'm asking them to get on it!!
