Matthew invited some friends from his preschool last year, new school this year, church, and playgroup. They had a fun time together and I got one smiling picture before one "silly face" picture.
They had cheese pizza and lemonade Capri Suns for lunch.
And, as you can tell by his expression, Matthew was so excited for his Ninjago cake.
Afterwards they played at the park and followed Tyler around on a Ninja obstacle course :)
whacked and opened the pinata,
and enjoyed goodie bags and Ninjago (these were
the toppers I ordered from my super talented friend, Alicia) cupcakes.
The older kids missed the entire thing because it was a weekday while they were in school so they were thrilled they got to open presents with him that afternoon when they got home.
Matthew said over and over, "thanks Mom this was the best birthday party EVER!"

Happy Birthday Matthew! What a fun party you must have had. Nothing like Ninja everything! How lucky are you to have sooooooooooo many friends. Can't believe you are 5 years old. Love you so much!
