Our green ninja turns FOUR

I think FOUR is one of my very favorite ages!
Yes, I am pretty sure, it's awesome!
This year we were in Utah for Matthew's birthday which made it extra special because he got to be with his grandparents (Price), great-grandparents (Jensen), Uncle Brian, Uncle David, (soon to be) Aunt Jordan, Aunt Kristin, Uncle Nathan, Aunt Alyssa, and cousins, Bentley and Paxton.  How fun for us "out-of-staters" to have this much family to celebrate with!

Matthew wanted a GREEN NINJA birthday cake.
And so with my limited skills...here is what he got...he was thrilled!!
He got lots of fun gifts
including his Captain America costume...he can't wait for Halloween!
He loves his Aunt Kristin, they have been connected at the hip all week!
My cute brother, Brian is an awesome uncle!  He loves babies and they love him!!
All he had to do was smile at Paxton and he got huge grins out of him.
Matthew is so blessed to have four great-grandparents in his life, so fun that the Jensen's could be with us.

Matthew is a complete joy and we love him so much!  Here are a few our favorite things about him.
Matthew brings me a dandelion almost every day, every time we are outside.
He flexs his muscles often, especially when he is "Captain America"!
Bandaids make everything better
His huge, "bear" hugs
His sweet, happy spirit
His "hahahah"!  (I hope I have recorded)
His constant singing of church and preschool songs
His love for the green ninja - and quest for reaching his full potential!
That darling, unique, raspy voice, deep brown eyes, callac, and big smile
