Thanksgiving week highlights

The kids had a week off of school for Thanksgiving and we spent everyday doing some projects/work around the house and something low-key and fun.  We started off with Andrew having a few friends over on Saturday night.  We had pizza, played night games, and planned to watch a movie.  But the night games in the cul-de-sac were TOO much fun for eight year old boys and so the movie watching didn't really happen. Instead, it turned into wrestling.  Lots of wrestling.  Thankfully, Tyler took them all back out again for more football and capture the flag.  They had a fantastic time and I am sure they all slept well that night!!

We went to the movies, Chuck E Cheese, rented Redbox movies, and a couple trips to different parks.  One day, we went to this park with cement slides where Andrew had been a few times with a friend.  You are supposed to slide down them on cardboard.  It didn't work that fabulous, it was almost like the cardboard needed duct tape on the bottom!  But, as usual, the kids didn't mind one bit!!
We had the entire park to ourselves.
It was great! The teeter-totter was a HUGE hit!
I love this picture of all of us.  How blessed I am to have this fun group as "mine".
