We tried something new this year and enjoyed attending the downtown
Sacramento Tree Lighting and Theatre of Lights. It was a beautiful, fun night together!
It was such a great setting for a reading of the classic "T'was The Night Before Christmas"
from a high balcony in Old Town Sacramento. The lights covered many of the downtown buildings.
Of course Santa's visit was a huge hit!
After the light show we found a little stand with yummy roasted, sugared almonds. They were so good and reminded me of a trip to New York that Tyler and I took after finishing graduate school. We discovered these delicious nuts in Times Square and I could have eaten them all night!
As we were leaving the kids met up with Father Christmas.
It was a fun night and will definitely be a tradition in the future!
