Tyler and I both grew up with the same end of the school year tradition,
we got to go out to eat and celebrate all of our hard work. I think his family went to a Mexican restaurant called El Farol and we got to go to Sizzler or JB's. It was the best because JB's had an all-you-could eat ice cream bar! There were sprinkles, nuts, chocolate, whipping cream...as kids, we were in heaven!
So for Tyler and I, choosing what we would do to encourage and celebrate good grades with our children has been easy! Last year we went to Cheesecake Factory (a favorite), but this year we decided it would be fun to reserve the "kitchen table" at Buca di Beppo. The kids loved it!

Sitting literally in the kitchen is a fun, unique experience.
The cooks even invited them behind the line to check it out!
Plus the dining is a little more casual!

Actually, we started taking the boys out to an ice cream parlor after each term ended. But soon they all seemed to close down. So we decided to take them out for a nice dinner. Yes, we probably hit El Farol's often but as they got a little older we started taking them to some very nice steak houses. They all worked so hard and always brought home good grades.....it was well worth it! And yes, "Together is a great place to be"! Love to all!
