Katelyn and Megan graduated from Kindergarten this week!
Note, Megan's band-aid on her chin. The night before she fell on the edge of a chair and sliced it open. We spent a (tramatic) few hours at Urgent Care getting stitches. She insisted I not show anyone pictures without the band-aid.
They sang some darling songs (they are on the front row) for their program and then gave their sweet teacher a hug, before receiving their certificate from the school principal.
They have made some really good friends, we love these darling girls!
We have also loved their teacher. She is the perfect picture of a Kindergarten teacher. She is a loving, patient, grandmother who has not only taught these girls, but LOVED on them! They both cried as they left the classroom today, knowing how much they will miss her.
Hip, hip, horray! Way to go Katelyn and Megan! Now you are officially first graders! Looks like you had lots of fun at your graduation! I am so proud of you. Be sure to read a lot during the summer so 1st grade will be easy for you. I love you both sooooooooooo much! Love to all!
