Now that the family photographs have been taken, we see how we look to the camera,
I thought I would post the kid's artwork. They drew these in August of their own version of our family.
Here's Aubrey's:
Medium: Crayola Markers and pencil
Special things to note: We love Aubrey's extreme detail and coordinating clothes
Here's Andrew's:
Medium: Oil pastels
Special things to note: We love how everyone's head is lined up, it's just the bodies that are shorter. And not sure when Tyler got serious "Grandpa hair", with only adding a few spikes!
Here's Katelyn's:
Medium: Oil pastels
Special things to note: We love that since Dad's hair is a little spiky on top, all boys got the same "do"!

Here's Megan's:
omigosh that is ADORABLE! Love how megan didn't give you any mouths! lol.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great to see how children interpret things. If only we could some how bottle their innocence. I especially love Tyler's hair in a few of the drawings. You have discovered yet another great tradition. Great thing to keep. Loved the drawings!
ReplyDeleteLove to all!
What a great idea! It would be so much fun to look back at them over the years and see how much the pictures actually change. :) It's a good thing Tylers hair doesn't actually look like "grandpa's", imagine what it would look like in 10 years. ;)
