My "baby" is two

Being two probably means I don't have a baby anymore. I do however, have a buddy. Matthew is still a very committed, "Daddy's boy", but during the day when everyone is gone he is my buddy. I am so enjoying this time with him each day and even if it means I am the only one to sing "Root, root, home team" or "Monkey's jumping" over and over again, I am loving it!
We had a wonderful weekend watching General Conference and celebrated Matthew's birthday Sunday night. He loved his basketball cake (only because he isn't old enough to realize what he would have looked like if Grandma Prescott would have been here) and was so proud of himself for blowing out the candles. I love this picture with his sisters also doing their part to blow out the candles!
I guess we weren't fast enough, so he began licking his cake!
He loved all of his presents, but was especially excited about his Buzz Lightyear scooter!

  4. I know. I meant to comment on your family picture post because I thought it was funny that we chose the same colors for our photos. I guess we both went shopping at Gap Outlet around the same time. We just haven't managed to get a family shot yet. One of these days...

Are you still taking photos professionally?

  5. Happy Birthday Matthew! Just where have the two years gone. I simply can't believe your baby is two. These pictures are so cute of him.....I'm sure he thinks he's just as big as the other kids. Give him a big hug from me!
