We are so excited around here for SUMMER!!!
Here are a few of the ABC's of what we've got planned!
A-Anonymous good deed among family members and others
B- Bike rides - lots of them!C- Crafts - Every Thursday
D- Daily time to learn and read
E- ENJOY down time
F- French Fry picnics (when nothing, but In N' Out fries hit the spot)
G- Go camping (not in a time share, outdoors)
H- Homemade (suckers, pizza, and ice cream are a few)
I- Invite friends over
J- Jello (we're doing jigglers and Aunt Ginny's famous rainbow!)
K- Kickball after dinner (we do this a lot, it's a nighttime favorite all can play!)
L- Library trips
M- Movies - free ones and also family Movie night at home
N- National Holidays (we're celebrating the little ones National Pudding Day - June 26th, Joke Day - July 1st and my favorite, Respect your Parent Day - August 1)
O- Outings to bowling, pretzels at the mall, 7--11 for Slurpees, etc
P- PARTY- have a smashing Summer Solstice Party
Q- Quiet time reading together The Candy Shop War by Brandon Mull
R- Ride horses -Summer day camp and in Idaho
S- Sun, sun, sun - slip and slide, local sprinkler parks, swimming, and a water park
T- Trips to the beach, visit Grandparents in Utah and Idaho, and Monterey
U- Unique dates with Dad and Mom
V- Visit every park in our community
W- Wash the cars (with the hose, in the driveway, in our swimsuits)
X- XOXOXOXO Show each other how much we LOVE each other
Y- Yes! We can buy an ice cream from the ice cream truck today
Z- Zany dinner party - Winco and everyone chooses one thing to contribute without communicating!
I absolutely love your ABC idea!! We've been coming up with a big list of Summer Fun ideas here too. Yay for summer!!
ReplyDeleteYEAH SUMMER! What a fun wan to find things to do in the summertime. What do you mean you can buy ice cream from the ice cream truck? That's supposed to be saved for me. Well, at least think of me when you buy it, ok? And enjoy! Love you!
