One of my 35 goals this year was to run a race. In January it was any race. At that point
I wasn’t willing to commit to the half marathon until I got back from not running ten days while in Italy. You know to make sure I wouldn’t DIE running my long Saturday run!?!
Well, I did it I committed to a race, the “See Jane Run” in Alameda on June 5th.
My friend and running partner, Shannon and I had a great time. We stayed the night in Oakland the nightbefore and had a great run Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day with a gorgeous route overlooking San Francisco. I was especially grateful that Tyler and the kids came (2 hours each way) to support and cheer for me as I crossed the finish line.
Here I am just about to cross the finish when I saw my family there cheering!!
