July 4th!

 This fourth of July was so fun, and truly one of a kind!! 

I'm so excited to tell you all about it!

The night before my mom, Matthew, Megan, and I decided we wanted to ride our bikes to the ward breakfast at Breen Park. It was super fun! Once we got there, we ate a ton of pancakes! The best part was the McCollam's had made homemade buttermilk syrup which completed the pancakes!

We rode home, then cleaned up the house. We had fun swimming and barbecuing. Megan made campfire cones, and I made pinwheel cookies which were both delish!!

 

 After we went to watch fireworks and had a blast!! There were big pieces of cardboard and ash falling on us because we were very close, and we learned our lesson! 

Andrew and I even got some in our eye, but it ended up alright.  I happened to have an eye Dr. appointment the next day and he could see all sorts of debris and scratches in my eye.  I had to put in some drops and it got better in a few days.

When got home that night it was very late and we didn't have time to do the sparkler pictures we've wanted to do for a very long time. So the next night we had a lot of fun making these happen!

Our fourth of July was amazing and one one of  kind! 

We definitely had a great time celebrating our country!
