Thanksgiving Week

We were happy to have Tyler's parents here for Thanksgiving this year.

Most of the week, the boys did a lot of painting and cutting baseboards.

We are re-doing the downstairs baseboards and what a huge project it is!

So GRATEFUL that Tyler is handy and for Grandpa Kerry's help.

Although I don't have any pics, Bonnie hemmed all the drapes she had made for my downstairs.

Boy, do I appreciate her MAD skills!!!  They look awesome!

Thanksgiving day, Andrew and Tyler had a fun morning at the annual "Turkey Bowl".

 We had many cooks and helpers in the kitchen that day,

 

 

 a few taste testers :),

and then this one, VERY silly guy!

 We tried all month to focus on our many, many blessings.

We did our traditional tree and I loved all the things the kids came up with, including "my twin" (which melted my heart) and "our youth program" at church, and Grandma Bonnie named all her grandkids.

 

Megan wrote us a sweet letter to use for our Thanksgivng placemat.  Love it!

 

We have SO much to be grateful for 

and I'm so thankful for the reminder this time of year is for all of us!
