The leaves have been GORGEOUS this year and my kids have been asking and asking when are we going on our "leaf adventure".
Doesn't the word ADVENTURE just sound FUN?!?
Veteran's day was a beautiful 70 degrees and we only had piano lessons scheduled.
So we got our basket and step-stool and set out. We didn't have to go far because we have SO many trees in our new area.
Any excuse for Andrew to climb!!
The girls and I dipped the leaves in paraffin wax, to preserve them and their color.
We then make a garland for our back windows.
It was a great time!
Fun activity for everyone. Fall is such a beautiful time of year. Too bad we can't keep some of those wonderful colors throughout the winter. We don't have much color left around us, everything is all ready so dark and bleak! I have always loved your leaf garlands, such a great way to keep some color around! Love to all
