The night before their big day, their sweet friends brought over these darling CTR white towels to use after they come out of the baptism water. So, so cute! We love good friends!
Here is the sweet poem it came with:
My Baptism Towel
"This baptism towel is to help remind you
Of your baptism day all the years through.
When you come out of the water all clean and pure,
Dry off with this towel and you can be sure,
That you are as clean as this towel is white.
And the Holy Ghost will be with you both day and night.
For the Holy Ghost is your gift after the laying on of hands,
And will be a comfort and a guide if you obey God's commands.
This CTR emblem will help remind you to be strong
As you continue to learn right from wrong.
When your towel becomes soiled, remember that we, too,
May sometimes make mistakes and we've been taught just what to do.

It was a special day for everyone who attended, especially for Tyler and I as we are so proud of these two special girls and their decision to become members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The Spirit in their meeting was so strong.

After their baptism services had ended, these cute friends ran up to give HUGE hugs!
We are so blessed to have their Aunt Kristin, both sets of their grandparents, and one set of great-grandparents from Utah and Idaho come for this special occasion. We are so grateful for wonderful examples and support from our families.
Aunt Kristin gave a beautiful talk on the Holy Ghost.
Afterwards everyone was invited back to our home for brunch.
We had a delicious breakfast casserole, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, doughnut holes, and juice.

So grateful for wonderful friends whose love and support mean so much!
So glad these two, my grandparents are still enjoying good heath and able to travel to attend these special occasions for our family. We are blessed.
Last, but not least here is Grandma Bonnie and the four (two each) white dresses that she has made for Katelyn and Megan. They are beautiful, labors of love. (I talked more about this here).
Such a wonderful occasion to celebrate. Congratulations girls on your baptism. You are both such a good example to me. I am so grateful for you and proud to call you Granddaughter. Love to all!
