In my family of origin I have two brothers, commonly referred to as "the boys".
These two boys, came after a seven year gap from the first three
and only 21 months apart, were pretty much connected at the hip.

We were so lucky to have them both visit last week.
Brian, who happens to be single and available (and my friends in their 20's all refer to as "my brother with the nice abs" from this visit) was working in Nor Cal over the weekend and finished his trip up with a visit here!
I didn't tell the kids he was coming and you could hear the squeals for miles when they opened the door to him standing there! They LOVE their Uncle Brian. Unfortunately I didn't get many pics with him. We did some hiking with the kids, he wrestled with them (as always), he golfed with Tyler, we visited my favorite "ma and pop" local donut shop, and I showed him a few tricks on his new camera. However, my favorite part of Brian's short visit was the three hours we spent talking on my couch. RARELY does that happen without some interruption. What a treat! I love my brother, Brian!
The next weekend, David and Jordan (my new sister-in-law, they just got married in December - pics here) came to spend with us. Jordan had never been to Sacramento or San Francisco so we had a lot to show her!! We started with spending the morning in Old Sacramento.

That night Andrew had a basketball game and was so excited to have family here.
Andrew is a fun player to watch and leads his team in steals!
Andrew's siblings have seen many a game this year, some from this stance.
Tyler showed David Temple Run 2 on his phone...he kind of liked it!!
The next day we went to San Francisco.
Jordan had never been so that was fun to introduce her to one of our favorite cities!!
It was beautiful, sunny and 69 degrees!
Very, very crowded, but gorgeous!!
That night we dropped the kids off and had dinner at our favorite Thai restaurant.
Before we took them to the airport we spent a few hours at a local "fun center" golfing and driving the cars. It was a fun way to end a great weekend!
David, Jordan, Tyler, and Andrew were brave enough to ride the "Screamer"!
We ALL loved the cars and miniature golfing!
We had a great time with David and Jordan.
The goal was to get Jordan to fall in love with northern California so that they will move close someday!! We felt like it was a success with this text after we dropped them at the airport.
