The end of another school year

It's been a great year.
An exhausting, very busy few weeks, but a great way to end a wonderful school year!
The last day of school, Andrew was the star in his classroom's play, "Pirates of Grammar Island".  He played Captain Comma and I was so proud of him for memorizing so many lines.  Plus, who knew he had so much drama in him!?!  Must be all those sisters!!
My oldest four, all at the same school for one more year, had amazing teachers that helped them each stretch and grow in ways I couldn't.  The twins were in separate classes with teachers to compliment the areas Tyler and I wanted them to individually grow in.  It worked perfectly, they still played at recess, but developed their own friends and skills in their own classrooms.

And then home to welcome in SUMMER!!
We've got some summer goals to work on, a few small trips, and a lot of fun planned!!
Last, but not least to celebrate good grades we headed out for our traditional dinner.
After a lengthy voting process the kids chose Cheesecake Factory.

  1. Congratulations everyone for completing another year of school. Just wondering, however, were you all promoted?! Looks like Andrew is a natural on stage, just like his sisters! I sure would like to have seen his performance. Love to all!
