Memorial Day is a little teaser.
A small taste of summer.
ONLY twelve more days, but who is counting?!?!
We are all so excited for some less-scheduled days and more down time!
It seems like they are growing like weeds these days!!
Our weekend was perfect. A day of work, a day of rest, and a day of play.
We painted our master bathroom and bedroom this weekend and with new bedding on the way, a bed in the works, and some new decor on my project list...a fresh coat of paint was a great start!
But, back to that taste of summer...
There's nothing like a day at the lake to enjoy a warm day with a perfect breeze!
Andrew is getting the hang of the frisbee and really enjoys a good time with his Dad.
Tyler tried to take a quick power nap, but with his biggest fan always around, it is tough!!
And there's nothing better than asking your kids at night what their favorite part of their day is (I try to do this every night) and having them pause because it's too hard to decide. Was it the time at the beach, the ice cream cones afterwards, barbecuing, (for some reason my kids LOVE to eat outside as much as possible), or the family bike ride?
It was a great day!

ReplyDeleteMan, what cute kids! Yes, indeed summer is well on its way. It's always fun to start the summer out with a holiday like Memorial Day. Ginny had a great bar-b-que where some of us met and had a good time, fun and food. Sounds like you had a blast at the beach....so jealous! Can't believe school is almost out....what are your plans for this summer? Can't wait to hear! Love to all!
