This week

We are missing Grandma Jensen who we enjoyed having around.
She got the biggest kick out of Matthew and his cute little personality!
Andrew finished up a fun season of flag football.
I am not sure how soccer became so high maintenance, but flag football is so low-key.
There are no snacks, no banners, no parties, no coach gifts, no trophies, etc. etc.
It's been fun watching him learn the rules, his skills increase, and love playing!!
Andrew has joined the school Ukulele Club and is really enjoying it!  Can't you just picture this cute guy at about 16 years old sitting around with a bunch of girls and guys strumming to the ukulele!!  He is catching on quickly and enjoys practicing.
Last night for the talent show portion of our family night he played while the rest of the kids sang.
Oh boy, this is going to be fun!!
In addition, he and Aubrey have started their own (private, 2 member) Ukecano (combine ukulele and paino) Club.  They enjoy doing some duets, so -far to "Clementine".
Hopefully Santa Clause will bring Andrew a ukulele of his own!
After several Saturdays, between soccer and flag-football games, Tyler has finally completed re-sodding 40% of our lawn that died this summer while we were in Utah and Idaho.  He had accidentally hit a sprinkler head while mowing the lawn the night before we left.  Leaving our lawn not getting watered for a very hot three weeks.  It now looks fantastic!!
Katelyn is this week's star of the week!
Here is the fun poster she did and take note, when she grows up she would like to be a Krispy Kreme worker!

  1. Absolutely love your new header picture of the kids. Such a beautiful family. What a fun time for Grandma Jensen to visit. It sounds like you kept her rather busy! Glad to hear Andrew had a good time playing flag football. I wish that was all the more they did in Texas. How fun for Andrew to be learning to play the ukulele and to have a "ukecano" performance by him and Aubrey. Can't wait to hear that! It looks like you have had a really busy couple of weeks. I bet Tyler is glad to get all that grass finally replaced. Boy, what a big job. Way to go Katelyn for being the "all about me" star. Looks like you did a great job on your poster. I am so glad to hear that Krispy Kreams has come back to town. Can't wait for that date! Love to all!
