Lake Tahoe with the family

Prior to my girlfriends joining me for a fantastic weekend of projects and relaxation,
Tyler, the kids, and I enjoyed a quick little get-a-way to Lake Tahoe.  
 We LOVE the Marriott Timberlodge in South Shore and were so excited to be back!
The first night we enjoyed an evening walk around the base of Heavenly ski resort.

You never know what fun things you may find that deserve a photo! 
The next day there was some rain.  I actually was so grateful because I think it slowed us down some.  The kids swam forever, running between the pool and several hot tubs. 
It was freezing, ok not for our Utah and Idaho relatives in comparison, but check out the clock's thermostat, it's 50 degrees!  The kids did not mind at all!
With the pool basically being empty, the jumping tricks began.
After the swimming, we took the kids to see the movie, "Dolphin Tale".  It was darling.  Afterward, we checked out a huge stack of games and spent the afternoon drinking hot chocolate, playing board games, and putting together puzzles.  It was like a little piece of heaven on earth.  I love soaking up those moments without the distractions, enjoying one another.

    Love the sassy pose Aubrey! And nice work holding up the giant boulder Andrew! Megan and Katelyn, I see you've been perfecting your pool jumps since Aspen Grove! And Matthew, it was very nice of you to share your ice cream with your dad. Love you all! :)

    Aah! Lake Tahoe! A piece of Heaven! I think some new names need to be given out. Miss Aubrey Betty Boop, and Andrew the new Hercules! What do you mean 50 degrees is cold. Where are you from, California?! Don't you know by now that if there is swimming to be had, the temperature really doesn't matter. Love the pic of Matthew sharing a lick with Tyler. So glad you take advantage of Worldmark. What a wonderful get-away. Love to all!
