The girls have been looking forward to this day F O R E V E R, counting it down!! They were so excited to turn five. You see five means they can go to Kindergarten, play soccer, and have a birthday party. We started our day out with our family party just after breakfast, since Tyler had to leave around noon for Texas for the rest of the week. It was so fun to watch them open their gifts because they were so excited about each of their gifts.
Aubrey, Andrew, and Matthew got them CTR rings and a pack of their own gum. They also got Shrinky Dinks, Webkins, soccer jerseys, and a new pink, personalized Plasma car for each of them. It was a fun morning together.
We had their birthday party at 11:00 at the (water sprinkler) park. Katelyn and Megan wanted pizza and cherry 7-up (because it's pink, of course) for lunch. We had LOTS of play time, opened presents, and a darling Hello Kitty cupcake cake (thanks to Sams Club). It was the simplest party I've ever thrown, but the girls and their cute friends had a fantastic time!

I FINALLY GOT TO SEE THE CAKE! WHAT cute pictures! I wish I could have been there to celebrate your fifth birthday GIRLS!!!!! Love and miss you!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute girls! I can't believe that you are five years old. Where did my little girls go? Your party looks like it was so much fun. What a fun day for you. Love you and can't wait to see you. Grandma Jensen
ReplyDeleteWow FIVE! It's hard to believe that Aubrey was the same age when the twins were born. When we talked to Aubrey right after they were born, we asked her what they were. She said "Identical." We said, "Yeah, but what kind?" She said "Identical."
ReplyDeleteSimply can't believe our babies are five years old. How is that possible? It looks like you had a great birthday party. How lucky are you to have such a neat mom to arrange all these fun activities. Love you and can't wait to see you.
ReplyDeleteJust catching up after being out-of-town. Looks like you had two fun parties! How did you make the #5 with photos?
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable!
