Bags are getting packed,
birthday party details are being finalized,
house is clean (that's always a temporary situation with kids around),
library books are dropped off,
ipod is loaded with all my favorites,
kids spreadsheet/ calendar printed,
laundry is done (that too won't last long),
sheets washed, fridge and all closets cleaned (I've got company coming),
swimsuit purchased (after trying on every suit in town!),
car pools arranged,
eyebrows waxed, toes painted, white skin accepted,
fall soccer registration complete,
menu planned and shopped for,
kids and hubby "love notes and treats" wrapped, labeled, and ready
I'm relaxed and ready for a vacation...
Now, if I could just get over my fear of flying.
I can only hope I don't grab the man's leg next to me like I did last time I traveled alone and we experienced a little turbulence!!
