An evening at the ballet

Yesterday afternoon I got a call that my super-talented cousin (that's him in the program picture above) would be performing in nearby Davis at the beautiful Mondavi Center.  He hooked me up with some amazing tickets on the third row and I took a girlfriend of mine for an amazing evening!  It was unlike any ballet performance I'd ever seen.  These dancers were so talented, with the most beautiful bodies, completely tone.  It was fantastic!  It was also so fun to catch up with my cousin Matthew.
Here is a little about the ballet:
Newly formed but already receiving international acclaim, Morphoses was founded by Christopher Wheeldon and Lourdes Lopez with the fundamental goal of revitalizing contemporary, classical ballet by marrying dance, music, visual arts, and design. The troupe, which debuted in the U.S. in 2007, includes some of the foremost members of New York City Ballet and the Royal Ballet of Britain. Don't miss the first West Coast tour of this vibrant and young company.

  2. Rachlle,
If you are going to post about the ballet, you should give me equal billing by posting my review of the Ballet West performance several years ago.
