I felt so blessed to be brought homemade waffles with strawberries and nutella in bed!!
Complete with singing, "Happy Mothers Day to you" to the tune of Happy Birthday to you!
Then I came downstairs to this beautifully decorated table.
There had been quite the "buzzing around" the last few days and even weeks as little hands were busy at work making me all sorts of things.
After church we took our traditional photo of me with my favorite kids.
I sure love them and feel so grateful to know them and learn from them.
A few other fun ones from the front porch:)
And then we got to open gifts. They had been patiently waiting and were excited, plus I was excited to see what was behind all the "don't come in the office Mom" and "I promise to clean up that mess of papers Mom, it's for a project I promise".
Katelyn had put together this darling gift with homemade wrapping paper. It was so cute and had paper flowers and even a scripture verse. Inside was a coupon book full of more coupons than I will every need! There were some great things in there. Her final gift was some emoticon perler beads. They are so cute!! I love that she thought of something so creative and put so much time into making it all for me.
Megan had made me the cutest owl bag. It was so adorable! She had also given me a coupon book, really nice (long) card and a chocolate bar wrapped in a cute "mothers" (instead of Hershey) wrapper. She spent lots of time and I love it!
I also got a new mother's necklace, gorgeous flowers and chocolate covered strawberries.
The next day I was so spoiled to go into Matthew's classroom for a "spa day". There were different stations including nail painting, hand massage, back rubs, feel massage (complete with Matthew rubbing down my calves with rocks), and hair. I wish you could see the many barrettes he put in my hair, especially the one in the very front. Darn it my beautiful crown was blocking it. We had a wonderful time together and he sure knows how to make a girl feel loved!!

Happy mothers day to an awesome mom. I got chocolate covered strawberries too. Shari's Berries delivered with love all the way from Rocklin! Kinda made me laugh, knowing just were they had come from. I used to drive past their location all the time.
