Snippets from the iphone this month

Aubrey started taking voice lessons,
accompanied the ward choir on the organ,
and had a fun time ice skating with friends for church youth night.

We had some HUGE rain storms, filling our yard and streets.

We went on a fun, impromptu Family Night with our friends, the Salvatierras to walk a street popular for it's Christmas lights.  Santa even rounded the corner on the city fire truck handing out candy canes just as we finished.
Andrew almost lost his ball forever, stuck on top of a light fixture outside of a building while I ran inside.  Him loosing his ball (or other object) on the roof wasn't the first time and won't be the last time.  Even after some serious team effort, some teenager came to our rescue.
Andrew also continues to scare me.  Which for some reason he finds hilarious.  This was what I found one day (and screamed out loud at) after he left for school.
I made many batches of homemade salsa and delivered to friends and teachers
and learned how to make homemade noodles and sweet, Amish bread with her good friend, Alicia.
This pic (above) got me a new, weighted rolling pin for Christmas.
In addition, I continue to put away more peanut butter knives each morning than necessary.
Grateful that my children make their own lunches, just sad with the mess they sometimes leave:)
I also helped my friend Fara with a cute, newborn photo shoot which I enjoy getting some baby time.

We decorated sugar cookies delivered by a sweet, talented friend
complete with tree cookies, royal icing and decorations.

  1. The hand in the toilet is hilarious... my brothers used to do stuff like that to my mom all of the time! Something for me to look forward to with boys?!? lol
