We had a wonderful Easter and it was especially wonderful to have my sister, Kristin here visiting.
We did our traditional activities leading up to Easter, learning more about Christ's life, remembering his suffering, and celebrating his resurrection.
We end this each year with our Passover Feast, the kid's favorite (mainly because it's a picnic in our house).
Each year we decorate our eggs differently. This year we decided to follow Matthew's preschool's lead and use paint. It was easy to do and the kids loved it. We put the eggs and paint in a bag and swirled it around with our hands.
The Easter Bunny did indeed visit as well.
Aunt Kristin introduced the kids to peeling and eating those eggs (poor kids have rarely had a boiled egg, since I don't like the smell) and they loved them! Man this little guy loves his Aunt Kristin!!
We took our traditional "in front of the house Easter family photo" and had a wonderful day together!
Happy Easter everyone! Love to all!
