A day at the Aquatic Center

Tyler's parents came to visit (and bring us a new car, more on that later) and were SO helpful getting our house ready to put on the market.  Seriously, we are talking 26 projects that we crossed off, including hanging new lights, paint touch-ups, sewing curtains, new bathroom faucet, washing windows...to name a few.  We are always so grateful for their help!  Towards the end of the week we took a day to play at the Sacramento Aquatic Center on beautiful Lake Natoma.
There were many fun things to rent and play with.  Grandma Bonnie and Matthew started off with a kayak.
Although he didn't care for standing up much, Grandpa Kerry tried out the Paddle Board.
The kids LOVE the stand-up paddle boards and we got our money's worth!
Katelyn was ready to take out the kayak, so we took that out next.
We enjoyed a picnic, lots of fun on the lake and a welcomed rest from our projects.
It was a great way to finish up the last of the summer fun!

  1. Yep, it was great fun! Such a beautiful area and not too crowded. Just love being with the kids and watching them enjoying life. Love to all!
