Matthew, the GREAT!

So yes this blog is to help with my poor memory and I've got to record this one.  

There is nothing like a three year old little boy.

They are so fun and full of energy!

Matthew wants to sword fight and jump off furniture. 
He's constantly on the look out for things to tie up.

He's got a little bag he collects his treasures in.

He's in the pantry every time I turn around.
He wants things "just so".  

Only blue cups to drink from, Spiderman pajamas to sleep in, the tag from his blanket on his cheek as he drifts off to sleep...the lists go on.

This week Matthew found his shadow.  

And since he LOVES Peter Pan and Jake and the Neverland Pirates it was a big deal.  

He was squealing with delight. I ran to get my camera!

 Saturday night we were leaving the Science Fair and he again found his shadow in the dark parking lot with the parking lot light's help.  He was thrilled!

 When Tyler asked him what his shadow's name was, he paused and then proudly (and loudly) exclaimed, "Matthew, the GREAT!!".

We all busted out laughing.

We agree, he is Matthew, the GREAT!
