Gotta Love Uncle Brian

A visit from Uncle Brian is always a treat!
Really it was like Christmas when I announced to the kids he was coming to visit for a few days!!
Saying they love Uncle Brian is an understatement.
He is the crazy guy with stories of cliff jumping , sky-diving, and bear hunting.
He is the guy who plays and plays and plays and wrestles and wrestles (until I go crazy at bed-time). He is the guy who demands that the kids DO NOT kiss him.  That is, he jokingly, sarcastically demands no kisses, all the while causing them to tackle him and SMOTHER him with kisses!!
He loves every minute and so do they!

Monday was so beautiful and the kids had a minimum day so we spent the afternoon at (the almost dry) Folsom Lake.  I forgot (gasp!) my camera, but thank goodness he had his fancy phone.
You can imagine how thrilled they were that Brian got them all out to this island!
Andrew thought this hot, thick mud was pretty cool, including it's sound affects - the kind only an eight year old boy could find so humorous!!
We had snacks, a few buckets and a great time.
While the kids went to school Brian played with Matthew.  "Hook" was one of Matthew's favorites.
Tuesday night we had to have Oreo milkshakes.
Not only is is one of Brian's favorites, but it was Oreo's 100th Birthday!
Then the "big boys" (poor Matthew had to stay with us girls at home, painting nails and watching High School Musical)  had a night out at the Kings game.  Andrew got a Jimmer shirt he's been saving for.
And a HUGE group hug before he left this morning.
