Andrew's baptism was so special. We had a wonderful day celebrating
with family and friends his decision to be baptized. Here was his invitation:
Andrew was so excited and anxious for this day to arrive. Here he is with his Dad right before hand. I love it. There is something so special about the bond between a Dad and "his boy".
Earlier that morning Tyler shared with Andrew a book about a Dad's experience watching his son grow up and all the special experiences that they will have together. Those have already started with the hours they spend playing hoops, father-son outings, homework, cub scouts (can see this one really adding up with this week's pine-wood derby)! I love seeing their relationship form and Tyler being able to perform this sacred ordinance makes it so special.
Ya, he still loves his mom too!!
After he came up out of the water he said that he said to himself, "OK right NOW I am clean and spiritually new." How cute is that? For that moment. That one moment he recognized his cleanliness and his newness.
It was wonderful having so much family here to visit and celebrate with us, including my Grandma Jensen, my sister, my parents, Tyler's parents, and Tyler's brother and his wife.
We also were so grateful to wonderful and supportive friends who also came (especially amidst all the last minute, out of my control scheduling changes) to be there for Andrew.
It was a wonderful day for Andrew and for our family.

Love those good-looking redheads! I love all your photos, and the invitation. Congratulations to Andrew and you guys on this big milestone!
