Logging Aubrey's hours

Aubrey has been one busy girl these days.
In addition to her school work and our church, bimonthly Activity Day group she...
just finished up some physical therapy hours with her darling pediatric therapist, Garette.  We saw her a few years ago and loved working with her again.
Also, (although not pictured) Aubrey spends an hour a week taking ballet, she loves that and more than a few hours a week practicing piano.  Although practicing may not be her very favorite thing to do, she really loves to perform.  She is able to play many church hymns and loves her recital piece, Jessica's Theme from Man From Snowy River.  (I hope I still love the song when the recital finally comes in May.)

This last week Aubrey worked several hours on her fourth grade Science Fair project, "In Pursuit of a Perfect Nail Polish."  She decided to see if more expensive nail polish lasted longer than cheap nail polish.  She tested OPI, Del Sol, Hard as Nails, Hello Kitty, and Bon Bons.  The results...astounding!!  You'll have to interview her for her final analysis and conclusion.  She was thrilled to receive a Superior ribbon at the fair Friday night.
Last, but not least, in January she landed the part of Lucy in the local Theater Alive production of the "Narnia, The Musical- the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe."  She spends several hours on Saturday afternoons at her rehearsals and enjoys every minute.  Who wouldn't enjoy playing with a British accent in a magical world?  What's really fun is Susan (Lucy's older sister in the play) also has freckles and red hair, they truly look like sisters!
And this last picture, I just love it!  I took it in January and at age ten and a half my jokes aren't too funny and I was working pretty hard behind the lens to get a decent smile.  Here's a face of hers I love, and captured.  She looks quite...theatrical so I'll include it here.

Post Edit:  Just got Aubrey's second trimester grades - straight A's!!!  She's amazing!

  1. Just why I can't wait for her to be old enough to babysit, but looks like she'll have to clear some of her schedule. Such an adorable picture at the bottom too
